User password policy settings can be used to control the administration and management of user passwords. Account lockout policy settings determine how the operating system responds when a user enters an incorrect password. Imagine that you work for an organization where the leadership has asked you to create a technical guide that defines a User Account Password Policy and an Account Lockout Policy for Windows Server® 2016 users.
