British English .2 articles(1 qualitative and 1 quantitative research design)to critically appraise and critique. Need to make suggestions as to how the research articles could be improved, including alternative research approaches where appropriate . Introduction(10%) introduce assignment clearly, identifying what you will be discussing. Briefly introduce the two articles that you are going to critique.main body(75%) introduce relevant literature from your broad background reading to support your arguments .set the scene by briefly describing the two main research paradigms(qualitative and quantitative)(10%). ,Discuss how,and in what ways current research evidence impacts upon your role, and how this has influenced your choice of articles to critique(10%).,critically appraise the value of your chosen research articles and relate them to your own practice(35%).,suggest ways in which your chosen articles may have been improved using alternative/ additional methodologies and /or research methods (5%).,you will need to draw some conclusions about your topic and discuss whether you feel it may be worthy of further enquiry., conclusion(10%) you should conclude the essay by briefly summing up the issues and the arguments made.
