A literature search is the initial step in the process of designing an EBP educational project. This is a systematic process of discovering current peer-reviewed sources and publications. Students will survey the literature and provide analysis and interpretation of content relevant to their course educational project.

Complete an analysis of a minimum of six journal articles for the chosen EBP project. Articles should have a nursing focus, be less than five years old, and come from peer-reviewed sources. Use this Literature Review template to address the key elements contained in each of the articles reviewed:
Citation (written in APA 6th ed. format)
Hypothesis or research question
Study design
Sample, demographics, inclusion, exclusion criteria
Data collection, instruments used, reliability, validity
Statistical research findings
Implications and conclusions related to your EBP project
